Late winter and spring bring the animals near the rivers and roadways for viewing. In the fall you will experience the gathering of animals for the winter as they prepare to mate. The winter is a wonderland of snow and ice, which is great for cross country skiing and snowmobiling or travel by snow coach.
This tour will feature the major highlights of the One Day Trip to Yellowstone but gives you flexibility for a richer experience. The trip includes, but is not limited to, an evening campfire presentation with a ranger, short hikes to geysers, swimming in hot springs, wildlife viewing with spotting scopes that are provided, Old Faithful Geyser, and Artist Point at Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
Included in this two-day trip is a picnic lunch on day one, hot breakfast on day two, boat cruise on Lake Yellowstone (when available during the summer) or a snow coach December-February, entrance fees and lodging. We will work with you and the park to obtain the best options and location for lodging. There are many fine hotels and cabins located in villages at park entrances. The final price for this tour will depend on your lodging needs, the number of travelers in your group, and the season. This tour books three months in advance to secure lodging within the Park.
